New Chapel Farm Stockist based in Lancashire

We are pleased to welcome a new Stockist to the Chapel Farm Team in the form of Lancashire based Avonmoor K9.

Gary Strawson who has been working with dogs for over 30 years is ably assisted by wife Sheila and daughter Sophie who hopes to become a professional dog trainer following leaving school in June.

Their dogs, which are used in a wide range of activities including: flyball, gun dog work, working trials and also for working with birds of prey, have been fed on Chapel Farm for some months.

On seeing the benefits it gives their dogs they decided to become stockists. For any information please call or message Gary on 07939 665707 or Sophie on 07503 675178

Our thanks to Avonmoor for making the decision to join the team and thanks also for the photographs including this one of their new litter of 11 GWP pups with mum.

Congratulations to Mark and Julie of Achouffe Gundogs

We have posted photos received previously from Mark and Julie of Achouffe Gundogs taken when the dogs were working. However, they also enjoy considerable success on the show circuit.

As Julie says, “All our dogs are fed on Chapel Farm and are shown and worked throughout the season and boy, do we have fun! Who says you can’t do both?”

Their success speaks volumes, for example: Weimaraner River has currently won 1CC & 6RCC’s and Rio their youngest Slovak won more points at Championship Shows than any other puppy in any other group of dogs / breeds making her top import & rare breeds puppy 2016.

Many congratulations from all at Chapel Farm, we look forward to hearing of future success.

Photo shows Julie with Achouffe Aloof, “River”.

Fantastic Result at IGL for Chapel Farm Stockist

Thanks to Chapel Farm Stockist Sandra Onens of Kestrelway Gundogs for sending us this photo of her Field Trial Champion, Kestrelway Freddie who handled by husband Norman was awarded second place in the recent IGL Retriever Championship. Our congratulations to Sandra and Norman on this marvellous achievement.

Norman and Sandra were early to appreciate the qualities of Chapel Farm Dog Food, initially feeding it to their own dogs then becoming stockists for the Evesham area in May 2013 when they saw the benefits it gave.

Chapel Farm Seasonal Deliveries

Regarding Chapel Farm availability and deliveries over the festive period. For those who obtain from a stockist we would suggest you give them a call to find out their plans as possibly some may not always be available over the holiday period.

For clients who use online or phone ordering, due to the seasonal rush and extra pressure on delivery companies we are advised that the last official order day for delivery of Chapel Farm Dog Food before Christmas will be the 15th of December. Orders taken after that date will be processed as normal and it is quite possible that some of these may be delivered before Christmas also.

Chapel Farm office will close at mid-day on Friday the 22nd of December and thereafter we will be operating a skeleton crew until the 3rd of January apart from weekends and the public holidays of the 25th and 26th December and 1st and 2nd of January when the office will be closed.

Everything returns to normal as of Wednesday the 3rd of January.

On behalf of David and the Chapel Farm Team, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and offer our best wishes for a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New-Year.

An Excellent Training Day for Achouffe Gundogs

Thanks to Lincolnshire Chapel Farm Stockists Mark and Julie of Achouffe Gundogs for sending us a selection of photos taken at a training day, including this one showing some of the attendees.

Mark and Julie both write for online magazine http://slovakianroughhairedpointer.com/ which is relevant to all HPR breeds and is free to view by visiting the site above.

The magazine is a very interesting read and training tips and other features apply to many breeds and is well worth a look. There is also a “free subscription” link for the magazine on their website: www.achouffegundogs.co.uk as well as a very complimentary article explaining their reasons for feeding Chapel Farm for which we are most grateful.

To speak with Mark or Julie about HPR Training or Chapel Farm in the Billinghay area call 01526 861431 or 07976 323242

A Fantastic Effort by Jim Fleming

A big WELL DONE once again to Stirling based stockist Jim Fleming of Saltire Gundogs and Top Dog Training for his efforts in raising funds for Strathcarron Hospice and the PDSA. Every year in November Jim holds an awards evening in the Albert Halls in Stirling. There were many categories as can be seen from the photo showing the prize-winners which include family pets as well as working dogs. The overall figure has still to be finalised but Jim believes this very well attended evening will have raised around £1800 for these charities. An excellent effort with thanks to all who organised and attended and made the event such a success. If you wish to speak with Jim about Dog Training in the Stirling area or Chapel Farm Dog Food, please call 07765 650833

Our thanks to Aileen Stewart photography for the use of the image.

Please Don’t Leave It Too Late to Order

David’s training DVD’s are popular all year round but the usual increase in demand has started for the present giving season as they do make an ideal gift for the gundog handler.

If you are considering a purchase please order as early as possible, especially for those going overseas. Depending on destination country the last posting date for Overseas Airmail Delivery can be as early as the 2nd of December.

Every year we have had some orders to post on Christmas Eve which, despite the best efforts of the Post Office, are not going to arrive in time and it would be a shame for anyone to find no present to open.

For more info on the DVD’s in the series please visit: http://www.drumlanrigcastle.co.uk/field-sports/buccleuch-gundogs/training-dvd-series/
