Thanks to dad Phil Dyson for sending the following report for Chapel Farm sponsored junior handler Tallulah and younger sister Amelia who, following a long break from competition, were in action at the Burghley Game Fair.

Tallulah and Willow won the Junior Bales on Saturday, a great result as Willow has recently returned from maternity leave. 

Amelia finally had the chance of running her new young dog Summer, and they were delighted to win the Junior Long Retrieve and be awarded a third place in the Junior Bales. A great first time out result in their first competition.

Tallulah also had the chance to expose her youngster, 14-month-old Tallie, to her first competitions. Saturday was a learning day; they were delighted with a second in the Junior Long Retrieve and a third in the Junior Bales in Sunday’s competitions.

Amelia and Summer were lucky enough to win the Junior Bales on Sunday and a second in the Long Retrieve.

The girls also invited their friend Izzy along for the weekend. This was Izzy’s first dog event with Fern, and she manage to come second and third in the Long Retrieve and second in the Bales on Saturday and followed this with a win in the Long Retrieve and a second in the Bales in Sunday’s competitions.

An awesome weekend which was crowned by Tallulah picking up her new pup ‘Pippin’ after Sunday’s competitions.
