Thanks to Alan and Billy Sankey for the following

All 9 dogs in our picking up team have been born and raised on Chapel Farm Dog Food.

My opinion on this food is now based on hard facts of feeding this food for 10 years. I have over 50 years competing with working dogs and I can truly say I am getting the best and most consistent results with Chapel Farm. With this food you can make a good dog just a little bit better. No one will work their dogs harder than myself and Billy for fitness. All our dogs, have a job to do in the beating line and also in the picking up team, so, they must be willing and able to take the work we give them.

FTCh Brocklinton Bertie has been the oldest dog to compete in the Championships for the last 2 seasons and is still going strong only ever fuelled with Chapel Farm Dog Food. FTCh Brocklinton Betty (Bertie’s sister) is the same with plenty miles left in her yet. FTW Brocklinton Berry (a sister to Bertie and Betty) and Kia (a daughter of Betty ) both having had pups 10 weeks ago . I know for certain they would not have been able to handle their workload on a lesser make of food.

The other part of our team, Cameron and Lorna, on my recommendation have also been feeding Chapel Farm Dog Food for a couple of seasons and Lorna is now a stockist. They are also having fantastic results with a very hectic picking up season and have also just had a very successful 1st test season. They had 14 dogs between them, 7 labs and 7 spaniels.

It is very satisfying to me that every spaniel between us were the result of the pairing of Buccleuch Pepper by Wild Poppet of Brocklinton. Those being great grandparents, grandparents or parents of all the spaniels. As you can see Dave Lisett and Buccleuch Gundogs have had a massive input in my dogs.

And Davie developing The Chapel Farm Dog Food adds just that bit more to the quality of the dogs”.

Many thanks Alan and Billy and Best Wishes for the Season Ahead.
