Chapel Farm stockists Gavin and Lisa Brough of Crinan Boarding Kennels, Dalbeattie, breed and show Boxers and have enjoyed a fair amount of success. Earlier in the year their dog “Tag” was Reserve Boxer Dog Champion at Crufts and recently he was successful in the competition held to find Top UK Male Boxer at the Cotswold Boxer Event held in Coventry.

Regular Chapel Farm customers will have noticed a change to our bags recently.

This is because we are now pleased to present Chapel Farm Dog Food in a fully recyclable package.

This is something which we have been hoping to do for some time but dog food bags have specific requirements that have only just been met in a practical recyclable package and we are very happy to be able to take advantage of this technology.

Chapel Farm sponsored handler Sarah Miles competed as part of the Forth and Clyde Team at the Interclub Challenge. We are delighted to learn that they were awarded first place – well done all.

You will be aware of the price increases in grains, proteins, diesel, gas etc. reported in the News on a daily basis. These and other factors have had a significant impact on manufacturing costs, packaging and distribution.

I know you will not be surprised to learn that we have been affected.

To maintain the quality of the Chapel Farm Feeds we have no alternative to raising the price by £2.50 per bag across the range. The actual increase is significantly higher but we have absorbed as much as we can and hope that this madness comes to an end sooner rather than later.

As previously we still offer free delivery for orders of two or more bags to most UK destinations.

The cost to us increases on the 1^st of July but in order to give a bit of a cushion we will hold current prices until mid day on the 15^th  of July with orders placed thereafter being charged at the new rate.

Huge Congratulations to Buccleuch Chapel Farm sponsored Junior Handler Tallulah Dyson with her dog Willow, and younger sister Amelia with Fern on their achievements at Crufts.

Amelia was awarded 3^rd in the Junior Handler Working Gundog Class with Tallulah coming home 5^th.

In The Field Trial Bitch Class Tallulah was 2^nd with Amelia 3^rd.

In the Special Working Gundog Class Tallulah was 3^rd and Amelia 4^th

Amelia was also placed 5^th in the Best Picking up Class.

Apart from the Junior Handler, all other classes competed in were Adult Classes.

Getting dog food into Ireland proved to be a complicated process post Brexit and we would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark for his endeavours and loyalty to Chapel Farm Dog Food. Without his efforts it would have been a much greater struggle.

We have experienced three major price increases in the last seven months. It would be easy to blame Covid and Brexit and while these have had an effect there are also additional Manufacturing and Transport costs.

To maintain the quality of Chapel Farm products we have no option but to increase prices across the range which will come into effect on the 1^st of January 2022. We will continue to offer free delivery to most destinations on orders of two or more bags and hope you will agree that Chapel Farm continues to offer excellent value for money.

As a thank you to all staff for the efforts made during the pandemic the Mill, Office and Dispatch Warehouse will close at mid-day on the 23^rd of December and all orders placed after noon on the 23^rd will be processed when we return on the 5^th of January.

For those who obtain Chapel Farm from a stockist we would suggest you give them a call to find out their plans as possibly some may not always be available over the holiday period.

For clients who order via the Chapel Farm website or by phone, due to the seasonal rush and extra pressure on delivery companies as we approach Christmas, deliveries may take a little longer than usual and as such we would advise ordering as early as possible and before the 16^th December to give a good chance of delivery before Christmas
