November Price Increase

Previously we had absorbed some of this year’s price increases in the belief that things would quickly return to a level of normality. With factors such as bird flu, increased fuel and material costs etc. it has become clear that is not going to happen any time soon.

As such we have no alternative but to increase prices by £1.50 per 15Kg bag across the range apart from Invest ‘n’ Digest Lamb which will continue at the introductory rate until the end of the year.

This is not something that we wanted to do but to ensure that the quality of Chapel Farm products remain consistent and unchanged we have no option.

The price rise will be applied at the end of November, and we will continue to offer free delivery for orders of two or more bags to most UK destinations.

Great Result for Chapel Farm Sponsored Lee Hartis

Congratulations to Buccleuch Chapel Farm sponsored Lee Hartis who, on behalf of owner Mrs Thelma Blumenthal, handled Buccleuch Elegance of Leacaz to First Place at the Northwest Labrador Retriever Club 16 Dog Novice Stake held at Hi-Fly today.

Buccleuch Elegance of Leacaz is out of IGL Championship Winner FTCh Buccleuch Xena sired by FTCh Troddenmills Full Throttle of Leacaz.

Very Well Done on this excellent result and from all at Chapel Farm, Best Wishes for the Opens.

Great Response to Invest ‘n’ Digest

Invest ‘N’ Digest Lamb was introduced mid-July and the response to our new product has been excellent. So much so that word of mouth increased sales to the point where we experienced Out of Stock. New product was made but there were delays in delivering some orders and we offer our apologies to those affected as we had not anticipated such demand. Procedures have been implemented to prevent a repeat.

There are many positive comments made in the feedback received but the two most often mentioned are regarding.

  1. Improvement in condition, in general but also noted for females following the birth of a litter.
  2. Firmness of stools which has to be a good thing, making clean-up easier.

We would love to hear your feedback at chapelfarm@buccleuch.com

A Busy Galloway Country Fair for Chapel Farm.

The first Galloway Country Fair since 2019 and it was great to be back. As has often been the case in previous years the forecast was not good for Saturday, but it turned out much better than expected and attendance was good as people were obviously pleased to be able to be out and about.

Sunday was excellent with big crowds of happy smiling faces. Thanks to all who came and said hello, new faces and regulars including Chapel Farm stockists Monty Williams, Jim Fleming and Morton Muirhead.

A New Member for the Chapel Farm Stockist Team

Chapel Farm would like to welcome Biddenden based Kennel Club A Panel Judge Roger Wade to the Stockist Team and as usual we asked for a short profile from Roger.

“I started training Gundogs at the age of 18 mainly for rabbit and pigeon shooting which I still really enjoy, then progressing into driven game shooting.
Then in the ninety’s I became more interested in competing in working tests and field trials with a lot of success winning both novice and open trials finally qualifying my FTCH Lendown Gorse of Wadeshot aka (Storm) for the 2018 retriever championship at Packington where we went out late on the third day.

Having tried numerous dog foods throughout the years, this year I tried Chapel Farm and found immediate improvement in my dogs stamina and coat with firm stools and feel confident in recommending Chapel Farm to all my friends”.

Thanks Roger, to speak to Roger about Chapel Farm please call him on 07836 233651

Fantastic Result for Nigel

2nd Tannbow Kietta of Llangynidr

3rd Withyrose of Llangynidr

Many Thanks to all involved in the organisation and running of this test and making it a memorable day, especially for Nigel.

This fabulous result was only slightly better than the previous test where he managed a first and second at the United Retriever Club.

Looks very promising for the season ahead, well done Nigel and dogs.

New Product for Chapel Farm

INVEST ‘N’ DIGEST LAMB Has been specifically designed to help improve poor digestion, condition, energy levels and aid in physical and mental health. It has been vigorously tried and tested at Chapel Farm Kennels and with other top trainers and we have been delighted with the results and feedback received. To give an idea, here is what Veterinarian Dr Phil Dyson MRCVS and Mr Simon Dixon of Dawsonlee Kennels had to say:

“Having worked with and fed dogs for many years I had great results when trialling the new “Invest ‘N’ Digest Lamb product from Chapel Farm. During the time of the trial, I could see clear improvements in Digestion, Coat Condition, Weight and overall General Health. It is a food that I am very happy to use and have no hesitation in recommending to others”. Dr Phil Dyson

“I found Invest and Digest Lamb, the new food you are launching, to be very good especially with two of my 10 dogs who always seem to have loose stools and struggled to keep weight on. I had a month’s supply and noticed a marked improvement after just 10 days and by the end of the month they were both having solid stools and both looking very healthy. I cannot wait to get an order in as soon as the product is launched”. Mr Simon Dixon

Initially expected mid-August we have been advised that it should now be available to order from mid-day on the 15th of July and we will be launching at an INTRODUCTORY DISCOUNT PRICE of £23.oo per 15Kg bag.

(Normal price is expected to be similar to 24+)

Great Result for Gavin and Lisa

Chapel Farm stockists Gavin and Lisa Brough of Crinan Boarding Kennels, Dalbeattie, breed and show Boxers and have enjoyed a fair amount of success. Earlier in the year their dog “Tag” was Reserve Boxer Dog Champion at Crufts and recently he was successful in the competition held to find Top UK Male Boxer at the Cotswold Boxer Event held in Coventry.

Congratulations Gavin and Lisa, well done on these fantastic results and best wishes for the future.

Chapel Farm Now In Recyclable Bags

Regular Chapel Farm customers will have noticed a change to our bags recently.

This is because we are now pleased to present Chapel Farm Dog Food in a fully recyclable package.

This is something which we have been hoping to do for some time but dog food bags have specific requirements that have only just been met in a practical recyclable package and we are very happy to be able to take advantage of this technology.
