A Promising Start for Kathy and Peanut

Our thanks to Sponsored Show Dog Handler Kathy Spacey for this update on her youngster, “Peanut”.

“We have been to two wee events so far and he has been Best Hound Puppy and Best Puppy at both! He has his first championship shows next month.

He loves the Chapel Farm Foods and is currently on a mix of the puppy/junior and the 24+ and is thriving”.

Thanks for that Kathy and also for the photo of your handsome lad relaxing at home.

Chapel Farm Welcomes Roly to the Team

Chapel Farm Dog Food is delighted to welcome Roly Vincini from Bawburgh as the latest addition to the Stockist Team. Our thanks to Roly for the photo and profile below.

“My first involvement with Chapel farm was the purchase of David Lisett’s training DVD’s many years ago. Later I was fortunate to get my first Labrador and fed her on Chapel Farm. Being very happy with the results I decided to become a stockist which I feel will be a worthwhile addition to my new shooting school and rabbit pen training facility. I look forward to meeting many new and old customers”.

To speak to Roly please give him a call on 07798 866527

A Warm Welcome to the Stockist Team for Werner Dreyer

We are very pleased to welcome Werner Dreyer to the Team of Chapel Farm Stockists and thank Werner for the photo of his team and for the following profile.

“Based in Wakefield West Yorkshire I started with one working cocker spaniel doing a bit of beating on weekends. Now many years later I’m a game keeper and I have a mixture of working dogs from springers to labs.
I have tried many different dog foods but was very happy when I found Chapel Farm dog food.
All my dogs are on Chapel Farm dog food and I found immediate improvement in my dogs stamina and coat with firm stools and feel confident in recommending Chapel Farm to all my friends”.

For more information please contact Werner on 07725 673264.

Excellent Championship Result for Alan Sankey

Chapel Farm Dog Food would like to send huge congratulations to Sponsored Handler Alan Sankey on his massive achievement on being awarded third place at this year’s English Springer Spaniel Championships held at Invermark Estate.  He achieved this with FTW Brocklinton Kia and was also awarded a Diploma of Merit for his other dog FTCh Brocklinton Bertie.

We would like to thank Alan for being a great ambassador for Chapel Farm Premium Dog Food and wish him all the best for the 2023/24 trialling season.

A New Champion for Jon Bailey

Congratulations to Chapel Farm Sponsored Handler Jon Bailey on making up English Springer Spaniel  Churchview Cortino to a Field Trial Champion at the Lincolnshire Gundog Society Open AV Spaniel (Ex Cockers) stake at Wentworth Park.

Well done Jon and best wishes for the Championship from all at Chapel Farm.

A Fine Result for Alan Sankey, Kia and Betty

Our thanks to our Chapel Farm Sponsored Handler Alan Sankey for this update.

“A good result yesterday for Brocklinton kennels at the Lancashire and Merseyside Open Stake, after a 3-dog run off.

Brocklinton Kia came out on top with the win, second -Tweed Brae Dees Young Star, and third – FTCH Brocklinton Betty (Kia Dam). Very pleasing for the kennels with Kia being the third generation of our own breeding and she was running in the open stake as a non-qualified dog. So that’s her keeping FTCH Brocklinton Bertie company in the Championship in Jan 2023.

Also good for Buccleuch Kennels and Chapel Farm, Bertie, Betty, and Kia are son, daughter and granddaughter to Buccleuch Pepper and are thriving on Chapel Farm Lamb Diet”.

Congratulations Alan and best wishes for the Championship.

November Price Increase

Previously we had absorbed some of this year’s price increases in the belief that things would quickly return to a level of normality. With factors such as bird flu, increased fuel and material costs etc. it has become clear that is not going to happen any time soon.

As such we have no alternative but to increase prices by £1.50 per 15Kg bag across the range apart from Invest ‘n’ Digest Lamb which will continue at the introductory rate until the end of the year.

This is not something that we wanted to do but to ensure that the quality of Chapel Farm products remain consistent and unchanged we have no option.

The price rise will be applied at the end of November, and we will continue to offer free delivery for orders of two or more bags to most UK destinations.

Great Result for Chapel Farm Sponsored Lee Hartis

Congratulations to Buccleuch Chapel Farm sponsored Lee Hartis who, on behalf of owner Mrs Thelma Blumenthal, handled Buccleuch Elegance of Leacaz to First Place at the Northwest Labrador Retriever Club 16 Dog Novice Stake held at Hi-Fly today.

Buccleuch Elegance of Leacaz is out of IGL Championship Winner FTCh Buccleuch Xena sired by FTCh Troddenmills Full Throttle of Leacaz.

Very Well Done on this excellent result and from all at Chapel Farm, Best Wishes for the Opens.

Great Response to Invest ‘n’ Digest

Invest ‘N’ Digest Lamb was introduced mid-July and the response to our new product has been excellent. So much so that word of mouth increased sales to the point where we experienced Out of Stock. New product was made but there were delays in delivering some orders and we offer our apologies to those affected as we had not anticipated such demand. Procedures have been implemented to prevent a repeat.

There are many positive comments made in the feedback received but the two most often mentioned are regarding.

  1. Improvement in condition, in general but also noted for females following the birth of a litter.
  2. Firmness of stools which has to be a good thing, making clean-up easier.

We would love to hear your feedback at chapelfarm@buccleuch.com
