Say Hello to our Newest Stockist

We are delighted to welcome Kirsten Rennie to the Chapel Farm Stockist Team and asked what prompted her to join the team.

“Auchentore Gundogs and The Working Puppy Company are based in beautiful Aberdeenshire not far from Inverurie. We currently have a team of 8 Labs and 2 Springers that are worked throughout the shooting season as well as competing with the labs in Field Trials and Working Tests. The Working Puppy Company was started in 2012 with the vision of providing balanced, modern gundog training methods to all abilities and breeds of dogs and their handlers.

We have been delighted with the change to Chapel Farm dog food, there is something to suit everyone in the kennel from pups through to retirees. We look forward to recommending it to clients and beyond”.

Chapel Farm can be collected from the Kintore or Midmar area. To contact Kirsty email kirsten@workingpuppycompany.com or call 07734682735

Great Result for Lee and Jed

Congratulations to Chapel Farm sponsored handler Lee Hartis and FTW Kentwone Columbine of Leacaz, “Jed”, who were awarded first place in yesterdays Open Test organised by the Northumberland and Durham Labrador Retriever Club.

Great Result Lee, very well done and good luck to you and Jed for the next competition.

A Great Test for Galloway Gundogs

Chapel Farm has sponsored The Galloway Gundog Club for many years now and is pleased to continue to do so. This friendly club holds a series of Tests throughout the season and is a valuable source of information for many interested in developing their gundog handling skills.

The most recent Test took place at the weekend being held at Arvie. Our thanks to club secretary Susan Edgar for sharing the photo of the Judges and Prizewinners on the day.

Welcome to Steve Winspear

Thanks to 2019 Cocker Championship Winner Steve Winspear of Kiltonbeck Gundogs, for getting in touch and making the change to Chapel Farm dog food for his kennel.

Thank you for your faith in our product Steve and Good Luck with future Trials.

Well Done Mike and Buzz

We are pleased to receive the following from Chapel Farm Sponsored Mike Jones.

Just to let you know I have been selected in the Wales squad for the test season again this year. I am running at the skinners World Cup in May but unsure yet of which other ones I’ll be running in. Still waiting to hear.

Thank you once again for your continued sponsorship with Chapel Farm by providing support for the best food I’ve fed to keep my dogs in the best of health to work throughout the year. Whether it’s trialling or the test season”.

Thanks for the update Mike and also for the photo with Buzz, best wishes for all competitions.

Team Tallamelie Take Top Three Places

Chapel Farm sponsored Tallulah and Amelia Dyson of Team Tallamelie Gundogs had a great time at the URC Junior Handlers Test where Tallulah just pipped Amelia to first by one point, and also managed third with her older dog.
Tallulah then ran her young dog in the Adult Novice Test and was pleased to complete all retrieves and finish in sixth place.
Well done girls, keep up the good work and again, thanks to Dad Phil for the update.

Quality Control in Action

Thanks to Caroline for sending this picture of, as she describes them, the “2 CEO’s of Labrador Central” who don’t always spend a great deal of time investigating deliveries but were very interested in this one from Chapel Farm.

Thanks to Noelle for the Litter Update

In February, Noelle let us know about her new litter and we have just receive the following update.

“Thought you would like to see the finished results now all gone off to their new homes all on Chapel Farm puppy food.

The result are fantastic each person who has taken a pup to their vets have said how healthy the pups are with beautiful coats.

Two went to Guide Dogs for the Blind”.

Thanks Noelle for taking the time to write and for the lovely photo.

Well Done Team Dyson

Chapel Farm Sponsored Junior Handler Tallulah Dyson has been among the awards again. This time with scurries being placed second and third in the junior event and second in the adult, qualifying her to run in the finals at Sandringham in September.

She is not the only one of the Dyson family to have had success. Dad Phil, who is a Chapel Farm Stockist, was invited to take part in the England Team selection and he and OFTW Copperbirch Chanel of Tallamelie have been selected to run for Team England.

Congratulations and Well Done Both.

A Win for Willie and Miller

Not to be outdone on the winning front, Kathy’s (see previous post) husband Willie, who is our Chapel Farm Stockist based in Perth, has also enjoyed success.

Competing with Tullyah Long Island, “Miller”, they performed very well and were awarded First Place in the Novice Gundog Test run by The Gordon and District Gundog Club.

Congratulations Willie and Best Wishes for the Open Tests.
