Chapel Farm Kennels was recently visited by photographer and journalist David Hudson who was carrying out research for an article on the history of Buccleuch Labradors. David began by interviewing Gundog Manager David Lisett and then moved outside to take photographs to accompany the feature piece which was published in “Dog World” magazine on the 15th of April. This is a very interesting article which gives a good description of the work undertaken at Chapel Farm Kennels and also describes the evolution of the Buccleuch Labrador whose lines can be traced back unbroken to the very first.
