The Performance 24+ is the superior variety of the Chapel Farm range. We recommend this variety for achieving the highest level of results from your working or competition dogs. During training, working and competing dogs will use incredible amounts of energy; Performance 24+ was designed with this in mind. This variety of our Chapel Farm Dog Food range can also be fed to whelping bitches and young dogs from six months onwards. At the Chapel Farm kennels we feed all the young dogs and those who David intends to compete with on Performance 24+ as they will be training and using a great deal of energy and need a nutritious diet that enables them to be in peak condition both physically and mentally in order to achieve the best results.
Performance 24+ consists of the finest ingredients to ensure that your dog’s diet enables it to reach its full potential. The Performance 24+ variety is a premium quality diet based on chicken and rice, hypoallergenic, being free from ingredients known to cause food intolerances. We have then added Scottish Salmon oil of which improves and looks after your dog’s healthy coat, skin, brain and bone development. The extra glucosamine supports the structure and function of joints and is targeted to help those suffering from arthritis or joint disease. Glucosamine helps to aid relief of symptoms such as joint pain and stiffness. We add a touch of herbs to the food for the extra help that they can provide for various conditions such as arthritis, pain and heart problems. It is quite popular to see herbs and spices in many high-quality dog foods. The Performance 24+ also has added carnitine to improve your dog’s heart function, control weight and extend quality of life. It is beneficial to add carnitine to a dog’s diet as this helps metabolize energy and break down fatty acids to maintain heart health.
We would recommend feeding the Chapel Farm Performance Plus 24% variety to your working and competition dogs in order to obtain the best results. This variety is also suitable for feeding to younger dogs from the age of six months onwards as well as bitches in whelp, as it contains high quality ingredients which will help brain and bone development which is essential for growing dogs. The higher protein level than the Original 20 increases your dog’s stamina and concentration levels, to maximise results when they work or train. Many dogs will lose energy in the colder weather keeping their bodies warm, out-with any physical activity and therefore the added protein will give them a boost of energy to subsidise this.
This variety is the highest quality in the Chapel Farm Adult range and ensures your dog’s diet keeps them in peak condition. We feed this to all the Buccleuch Gundogs at Chapel Farm Kennels during training and the competition season, and the results that David achieves from the dogs speak for themselves. This variety is also suitable for companion dogs who lead an active lifestyle or for those who you simply want to have the taste of the finer things in life.
